Terms of Service
Effective date: 27 Mar 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Outage.my (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
Outage.my (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides the Service. For questions about these Terms, contact us at hello@outage.my.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for fraud, abuse, or illegal activity.
3. Subscriptions, billing, and payments
Some features may require a paid subscription. Prices, billing frequency, and included features are shown on our pricing pages or at checkout.
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge the payment method you provide for recurring subscription fees and applicable taxes (if any).
Unless required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable. If you cancel, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, accounts, or systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service (including by introducing malware, excessive load, or abuse of endpoints).
- Scrape or harvest data from the Service except where explicitly permitted.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or submit false reports intended to mislead others.
5. Third-party integrations
The Service may allow you to connect third-party tools or services (integrations). Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their actions.
If you enable an integration, you authorize us to exchange data with that third party as needed to provide the integration functionality you requested.
6. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, and outages may occur.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, limits, or pricing (where allowed).
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding user-provided content), is owned by Outage.my and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Status information may be based on automated checks, community reports, and other signals, and may not always reflect real-time conditions for every user or network.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outage.my will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our total liability for claims relating to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or MYR 100, if you paid nothing).
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Outage.my harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms, or if we reasonably believe suspension is necessary to protect the Service, users, or third parties.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. You agree that the courts of Malaysia will have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service (subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to you).
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above indicates when the latest version took effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
